The first level of training available for peer supporters. The Peer Support Academy is geared toward Police, Fire, EMS,Dispatch, Ski Patrol, Search & Rescue, Military and other types of first response teams and family members. Mental Health professionals hoping to work with this population are encouraged to participate in this training. Successful Peer Support & Specialist Academy participants may go on to examination and apply for Colorado Certified Prevention Specialist designation.
