Amanda holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University and a post-graduate certification in Counseling Military Families. She has experience working with military and first responder related challenges including PTSD, moral injury, anxiety, depression, stress, and anger. Amanda has worked with individuals and couples to navigate difficult issues, life transitions, and service separation.
Amanda is intentional about creating a space where together you will explore your experiences and needs to identify opportunities that make impactful change in your life. It is her goal to provide a safe place for you and build a relationship where you can trust her with whatever you need to say or stories you want to share. She has an integrated approach to counseling and utilizes different therapy techniques personalized to your needs (personality/learning styles), and the nature of the situation(s) you are dealing with. Amanda is passionate about supporting families and serving those who serve.
Building Warriors is a peer run nonprofit specialty group of responder counselors and peer specialists providing direct services and training to support emergency responders and their families.
