Katie Hanjani is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate who works with adult individuals. She knew from a young age that she was called to be a mental health therapist. She wants to empower her clients to live their healthiest lives by discovering their worth through being seen and heard in session. Katie’s grandpa was a police officer for over 30 years and her father, brothers and uncles all served in different branches of the military. She worked for West Metro Fire Rescue for over 6 years as a recruiter and she also worked for the City of Westminster in their HR department helping with firefighter and police hiring processes. With a combination of her work, education and life experiences, she understands that working in protective services comes with its own set of unique struggles and frustrations. She wants to best serve her clients by being supportive and culturally competent when it comes to their needs. Her style of therapy is “lovingly direct.” She works with substance abuse, finding resiliency and trauma informed care.
Katie is currently working for Community Reach Center. She graduated from Regis University magna cum laude with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Colorado native and when she isn’t working she is learning Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu, spending time with her family and 3 dogs.
Practices in the Broomfield, Arvada and Westminster area.
